The London Tamil Church began when a small group of immigrant families gathered in East London homes for evening prayers and scripture reading in their mother tongue. As the community grew, so did the vision to establish a permanent spiritual home that honored traditional liturgical practice while embracing the realities of modern urban life.
Today, our congregations in Manor Park and Wood Green continue that founding commitment, offering a welcoming sanctuary where elders, students, and new arrivals find fellowship, sacramental worship, and mutual support.
We stand upon historic Christian orthodoxy, liturgical beauty, and unconditional hospitality to every stranger seeking grace.
Our confession is anchored in the historic creeds, celebrating the richness of bilingual worship where ancient hymns and contemporary prayers unite generations.
Dedicated ministry across parish care, youth mentoring, and family support
Our ordained clergy and elders provide compassionate pastoral guidance, regular hospital visitation, bereavement support, and marriage counselling. We believe spiritual care extends far beyond Sunday morning into the daily joys and trials of diaspora life.
Alongside pastoral visits, our leadership team coordinates weekly youth fellowships, catechism classes for children, and practical assistance networks for newcomers navigating life in London.
Our doors and hearts are open to you and your family.
